  1. ...And a very merry Christmas to you and yours Dyl.

If you haven't already got "a fool and his eel" by Mark Walsingham on your bookshelf (nothing to do with eels I hasten to add), then can I thoroughly recommend that you do so; it's right up your street mate! (cheers santa)

Tight lines and all the very best for 2020 brother... Looking forward to another year of "ramblings", and Izaak willing, tales of a pristine split-cane thirty.

    Cheers

    1. Hi mate,
Great to hear from you and all the best to you and yours at this festive time. I'll have a look for that book, sounds interesting? My shift pattern is perfect for the January PAC meeting so I'm hoping to get across to The Ethelbert for a catch up. Young Tom Lane has been a fellow visitor to the East Kent drains and had told me about his victory in the JR Memorial match. Is the 2020 match open to lapsed members?
Much to look forward to in the coming months, the split cane thirty becoming more realistic with my recent syndicate membership.
      Tight lines - Dyl
