A pretty laid back sort of day, once the grand-kids had been dealt with. Bev and I ate our "roast dinner" around 20.00 hrs and I had the camera kit on hand whilst doing the cooking. It wasn't until well after 19.45 hrs that the first Hedgehog turned up. Twenty-five days on the spin, in December, not much more to say. I placed the Merry Christmas message ( "So Russia bombs the Ukraine" - the BBC headline this morning) but think that it would have been better if I'd written American Yellow Warbler at New Hythe for it's second day?

Benno and I are out for a Pike fishing social in the morning, so I'll hopefully have something, other than Hedgehog related, to post tomorrow?
