The Stour is controlled by Canterbury & District AA until it reaches Pluck's Gutter where Wantsum AA have a day ticket section, on the southern bank. If you send me an email address, via this comment facility - I promise I won't publish it, then I'll have more time & space to offer what little advice I am able. Thanks for taking time to contact me, I'm very flattered - tight lines - DylanDylan Wrathallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01285181139467170047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7338589224051075532.post-32042767497811137872019-01-26T21:51:04.052+00:002019-01-26T21:51:04.052+00:00Hi Dylan, I came across your blog the other day wh...Hi Dylan, I came across your blog the other day while searching for information about fishing the Wantsum and I’ve read many of your posts since then with interest. I live near Chislet and restarted fishing last year after very many years away from it. I’ve enjoyed fishing Marshside Fishery recently as well as Longshaw Farm, however I really want to do a bit of river fishing this year and the Wantsum seems like it would be ideal for me, certainly local. Problem is I’ve had trouble working out where would be a good part of the Wantsum to try and how best to get to it. I thought I could drive up to Reculver and walk along the sea wall and then get to the top end of the Wantsum from there, but did wonder if there might be a better place to park or a different part to fish? Roads in the vicinity seem few and far between! If there is any advice you could give me, I would be very grateful. Best, Ian.fishermanontherunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11269514867613895634noreply@blogger.com
