Fortunately, this type of angling generally takes place on venues which I avoid like the plague. I like my own company, although happy to have Benno & Luke in contact over the walkie talkies, we don't need to spend the entire session standing around, chatting, in each others swims. We go fishing to catch fish - if we want a social we head off to a day ticket carp puddle, as we did on Sunday. Angling is all things to all people - no requirement to justify personal enjoyment to others, however different it may seem? - DylDylan Wrathallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01285181139467170047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7338589224051075532.post-50069586475914050432017-05-16T05:48:57.383+01:002017-05-16T05:48:57.383+01:00I'm with you on that score Dyl.

I've always been puzzled by those anglers who can only fish when they 'know' a particular fish exists. It's as though they regard second hand captures as something more credit worthy.
Richttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714117508358025668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7338589224051075532.post-28620581132710090342017-05-15T20:21:41.220+01:002017-05-15T20:21:41.220+01:00Ric - I'm not so sure about wildies - all I wa...Ric - I'm not so sure about wildies - all I want is to catch fish which are of wild stock. They are not boily munching stockies - I seek those fish which were spawned in the venue and have grown on without their life history being documented with regular visits to the bank!
DylDylan Wrathallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01285181139467170047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7338589224051075532.post-40918325993404509382017-05-15T20:12:17.568+01:002017-05-15T20:12:17.568+01:00Great post Dyl. It weighed four and a half pounds, and was the only occasion I've seen a carp tail walk.
It was wild alright, ballistic.Richttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02714117508358025668noreply@blogger.com
